EFL International students who don’t have English as their first language can study English as a Foreign Language in their time at Midleton College. The classes are modelled around preparatory classes for the Cambridge exams,with students given the opportunity to take a level appropriate Cambridge exam in May in University College Cork. Classes involve the practice of all of the skills; Grammar, Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking; exam paper skills using sample Cambridge exams; time to work on their Transition Year portfolios (where applicable);help with material from subjects and with orientation around the campus and life in Ireland.
